Three colourful circular enclosures that function as flexible mobile space are available for free hire to the Glen community for temporary social interaction, occasions and encounters. The positions of the three circles are permanently foot printed in the park and are loosely themed: Leisure, Health and Nature.
In 2008 a group called the Glen Platform was formed with artist Rhona Byrne and local community group representatives to discuss, how the GlenPark could be a positive spatial resource and be used by the local community. Over the course of this project we have invited local community groups to propose ideas for temporary events in the park. Some of the resulting feedback has highlighted that the positive use of the Glen Park for recreational and educational use should be encouraged. Local groups and organizations can book and use these enclosures for use in the park on an ongoing basis.
